Thanks to @coadec & @cmsilva for bringing this up via Twitter: No need to say anything more, just listen. Yet again, Fry seems to be one of the few in the industry who actually “gets” it when it comes to these things.
Why Not Have Albums for £1?
Former head of Warner Music UK and former BPI chair Rob Dickens has come out and claimed that the only real way to fight illicit downloads and increase sales is by dramatically slashing the price of albums saying in some cases it should be cut to as little as £1[*]. Obviously such a bold statement [...]
